Upcoming Match Inter Milan vs. AS Roma

inter-vs-roma1.jpgLeaders of Serie A Inter Milan have to defend their title against one of the toughest team AS Roma which is 9 points behind. Inter will be playing without 2 main players Ivan Cordoba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Both are injured. And Marco Materazzi as he got a red card in the previous match. In midfield, an injury to Dejan Stankovic is likely to hand new boy Maniche.

Roma’s only problem is Giallorossi inconsistency. Brazilian duo Amantino Mancini and Cicinho – will both be absent against the champions. The latter is suspended after his needless red card against the Viola, while the former was banned for that game himself but is unlikely to be able to shrug off an injury in time for Wednesday. Totti hasn’t scored since the last 18 week but has a habbit of netting against Inter.

Normally Inter has won most matches played among them but Roma emerged with a stunning 3-2 win in the 2005-06 season.

Inter (probable):
Julio Cesar; Maicon, Rivas, Materazzi, Maxwell; Zanetti, Vieira, Cambiasso, Maniche; Crespo, Suazo

Roma (probable): Doni; Panucci, Ferrari, Mexes, Cassetti; De Rossi, Pizarro; Giuly, Perrotta, Taddei; Totti

FootBall Hooliganism

football-hooligan.jpg

Football hooliganism (sometimes described as the English Disease) is a group of football supporters for a particular club. Fights between supporters of rival teams sometimes take place immediately before or after

football matches; often at pre-arranged locations away from stadiums, in order to avoid police. Another name for such a group is known as Football Firm. In reality these are gangs formed by fan which cant play good but still want to be part of a club. This is illegal. Mostly found in Europe.

The first recorded instances of football hooliganism in the modern game took place in the 1880s in England, a period when gangs of supporters would intimidate neighbourhoods, as well as attack referees and opposing supporters and players.
