First Carling, now transfer season; IT’s ALL RAMOS
Tottenham Hotspurs chairman Daniel Levy is indeed delighted with the team’s victory in Carling Cup’s final as injected £40 million for the summer transfer period.
Ramos is concentrating on quality as his hitlist comprises of Juventus midfielder Tiago Mendes (rated £7 million) and
Inter Milan’s Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic under serious Injury.
Liverpool’s chances to win the the match against Inter Milan are high. Firstly they are 2 goals ahead and secondly Zlatan Ibrahimovic star player of Inter Milan undergoing a serious injury. He was having a normal checkup and found out that he has a hole in his knee tendon. The Swede could still play some part against Liverpool but he has been forced to rest by doctors.
He said: “It has been hurting for a long time and I don’t know when it will heal. I didn’t want to say anything because I have just been thinking about winning with this team. But now I realise that I am taking a big risk and so I am resting.”
Can this be the reason of Chesea’s defeat?
Just 24 hours before the Carling Cup final, there was a brawl in the training camp of the London blues between skipper (John Terry) VS the coach (Henk Ten Cate).
According to the eye witnesses, Ten Cate aggressively faces up to Terry during Saturday’s session. Both of them went head to head exchanging swear words where the team divided them.
The session was to put the finishing touches to the plan for Wimbley but it went in some other way. There was a lot of unrest among the players because they didn’t know what the team was going to be for the Wimbley.
Terry refused to accept the coach’s offer of an apology. This wasn’t the first time where the coach came into action since he was appointed assistant first-team coach last October.
The best part of Saturday brawl was that Mr. Abramovich (owner) was there to witness it.
Dubai International Capital willing to take Over Liverpool
Tom Hicks owner of 50% shares of Liverpool might sell his shares to the Dubai International Capital. But Dubai is willing to buy all the shares from Tom Hick and American business partner George Gillett who owns the rest 50% shares. But according to the latest report by the British Press, Tom Hick said; “Reports that I am about to sell my stake in the Liverpool Football Club, or to invite DIC to examine the club’s books in preparation for such a sale - like other such reports planted in the UK press in recent weeks by parties with their own self-interested agenda - are absolutely and categorically false.”
So still not sure about the deal.
