Alan Shearer has high hopes for New Castle

Alan Shearer believes that Kevin Keegan’s reign at New Castle United, will bring a positive changes in the future. Now that all attackers Obafemi Martins (Ankle Injury) and Mark Viduka (Calf/Hamstring Injury) are returning to full fitness. Shearer belives that Martinis & Viduka along with Michael Owen will form a formidable attack.
“For the first time this weekend he could have a full squad to pick from with his centre-forwards - Owen, Viduka, Martins, (Alan) Smith, (Shola) Ameobi and the young lad coming through Andy Carroll,” said Shearer, Newcastle’s record goalscorer.
