According to Inter Milan’s boss (Robert Mancini), he is happy with the team’s performance in the drawn match against Roma. Robert was delighted with his team’s performance which was playing without Ivan Cordoba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Materazzi (who got a red card). Furthermore, Internazionale were forced to play 10 men in the final 25 minutes when their defender Maxwell left the ground on stretcher due to an ankle injury.
Robert Mancini said: “It’s a draw that’s worth a victory for the way it was achieved. It was never easy with ten men but the team showed great character and we soaked up pressure when we had to, proving we are a fantastic side.”
Inter Milan’s central defender and world rated man-marker, Ivan Cordoba is out for at least nine months after injuring his knee in the match against Liverpool. Whereas Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suffering from a knee injury and he is taking rest so he could make it for the second leg crunch against Liverpool.
