“Everybody in the FIFA in the final state go

And my football jersey says Maradonna

And the crowd chants, sounds like spirits from Africa”

That’s how big the name”Maradonna” is, people like to wear tha name, sing about it and watch him play again and again….

For most people wearing the Maradonna shirt would mean that they’re trying to be like him, for one… It’s being himself. Now the funny part is that I am not talking about Diego Maradona here. I am actually talking about his son, Diego Maradona JR.

The 21-year-old is all set to step into his fathers shoes, at least that is what the fans want so that we can see the magic again! Even tough everyone understands that he will be nothing like his father, still people expect alot more from the youngster.

Already major clubs have started taking interest in his professional career, while Diego Maradona Jr. himself has not named any single club yet. It is speculated that Valencia is on top of the list.

“Much has been made of Valencia and other Spanish teams who have been following me, but my agent won’t tell me the names so that we can remain calm.” said the 21-year-old Diego Maradona Jr.

What does he want in his professional career?

“any team in Serie C1 or Spain, but I’d prefer to play in the Iberian country [than C1],” adding that Serie B would be the best option of all.

Like any other player, he’d love to “play at the San Paolo in the shirt of Napoli.

“That’s a dream that I’ve cherished for ten years, since I played in the youth team.

“When you wear that shirt you feel all the sacrifices that have been made since childhood, and I hope to one day play with the squad.”

So what does everyone expect from the Diego Maradona Jr.

There is no doubt that alot of pressure would be put on him since he is Diego Maradona’s son. Most people would think that it’s a blessing for a player to be associated with such a name, however to the contrary the 21-year-old said:

“It’s created more problems than advantages,”

“I’ve not had problems with my teammates, because I have a good relationship, but it’s created great scepticism elsewhere that I am ‘the son’.

“Such a surname is important in the world of football, but I’m different from my father.”

Would he actually be like Maradonna?

Well what can we say, he is Maradonna’s son…. but…. but he admires Alessandro Del Piero! Some people might laugh at that, but I would rather laugh at them! He has his father’s class inherited and has learned from Del Pierro (just by watching hom obviously). Isn’t that like an extreme scoring machine?

“I admire him a lot,” he said.

“Not just because he’s a champion on the pitch, but because he’s part of such a great team as Juventus.

“As well as being a great players, he’s proven to be a great man.”

Just a glimpse on Maradonna’s class!
