Juventus transfer period targets

Juventus is targeting the Brazilian duo for the summer transfer period- midfielder Alex and center back Diego Lugano of Fenerbahce.
Alex and Diego’s agent, Juan Finger, has reveled Italian club’s interest after coming in the spot light during the Turkish side’s impressive performance in Champions League.
Finger reveals negotiation between Juventus and Diego Lugano is currently ongoing.
Finger said: “We are already having negotiations for Lugano, He has a little advantage because he has Italian grandparents so he will be able to hold an EU passport.”

Lehmann hints at Retirement

Jens LehmannGermany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has hinted that he may end his career after this summer’s European Championship finals.

The 38-year-old has spent much of the current campaign on the substitutes’ bench at Arsenal, having to play second fiddle to Spaniard Manuel Almunia.

“I don’t know what I will do after the summer.I will play the European Championships and then it depends on whether I get a good offer,” said Lehmann.

“If I do, I might play on another two years and if not, I might retire. It is very difficult to be on the bench, very hard, particularly when I see the performances on the pitch.

Clash of the Goal Keepers.

A Friendly match will be played on 26th March 2008 between the World Champions Italy vs Spain. The main catch in this match will be the both the Goal Keepers. From Spain Iker Casillas will be playing as the Goal Keeper and for Italy Gianluigi Buffon.
