Keane: “Some are hypocrites!”

Sunderland’s boss, Roy Keane, claimed his fellow Premier League managers as ‘hypocrites’. Roy Keane stressed on the hypocrisy of other managers in relation to their demand for more respect for referees and officials.
Due to recent incidents of officials being abused, the leading managers are stressing on the respect of referees.
But to this issue, Roy Keane said whilst telling to BBC Radio 5 Live: “There are a lot of hypocrites out there. The same bosses talking about players showing respect have been sent off themselves for abusing the officials.”
English Football Association’s director of football development, Trevor Brooking, started a new £200m scheme with the aim of recruiting new referees and improving the behaviour of players to the match officials. He said a new approach will be used next season in relation to the protection of referees. He said on this issue: “I’ve made it clear to everyone here – from the academy to the first team – that a lack of respect towards referees will not be tolerated. But I’ve seen other managers come out and demand respect. How can the players show respect if their manager does not?”
Kewell cleared to play, fights for Liverpool football career
After some depress news for Liverpool fans..this one will refresh them up

Injury-plagued Australian star Harry Kewell has been told he does not require surgery for a groin injury and he will return to England to fight for his career at Liverpool, reports said Friday.
Kewell missed Australia’s 0-0 World Cup qualifier draw with China in Kunming last Wednesday after injuring his groin during the lead-up match in Singapore.
He returned Thursday to Sydney for a series of medical consultations. Reports said that after a full day of appointments, Kewell was told he would not require surgery. Kewell underwent an MRI scan and ultrasound before he was cleared of serious injury. A groin specialist confirmed that Kewell had a strain and could resume play in early April.
