Barcelona lose Lionel Messi to injury for six weeks
Lionel Andrés Messi (born 24 June 1987 in Rosario) has been ruled out of action for six weeks after tearing a muscle in his left leg during last night’s Champions League victory over Celtic.
Messi pulled up as he made a run during the first half at Camp Nou, leaving the field in tears in the 35th minute, before Barca went on to book their place in the quarter-finals of Europe’s Premier club competition with a 1-0 win over the Scottish champions.

At half time, Barcelona is one up against Celtic in the second leg but bad news for Barcelona at 35th minute when Messi got injured. He was making a run when he suddenly stopped and started limping around. He was crying of the pain and he then substituted at 38th minute by Theiry Henry. It is expected to be hamstring injury.

Inter Milan coach satisfied with the draw!
According to Inter Milan’s boss (Robert Mancini), he is happy with the team’s performance in the drawn match against Roma. Robert was delighted with his team’s performance which was playing without Ivan Cordoba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Materazzi (who got a red card). Furthermore, Internazionale were forced to play 10 men in the final 25 minutes when their defender Maxwell left the ground on stretcher due to an ankle injury.
