Injuries now hitting Euro 08 - Switerzland loosing midfielder

Xavier MargairazSwitzerland midfielder injured his knee while playing friendly with his Spanish club CA Osasuna. He tore ligaments and damaged the meniscus in his right knee during Osasuna’s practice match against SD Eibar. He needs surgery and then a long rehabilitation period. As a result he will miss this summer UEFA Euro 2008.

Kapo Down as well!

It seems that match between Arsenal and Birmingham City was a bloody one. First the injury of the Gunner’s striker Eduardo and now it’s the Birmingham City’s striker Oliver Kapo who is out for a month due to hamstring injury.

McLeish told the club’s official website: “Kapo is out for four weeks with a hamstring injury. I think playing with 10 men put an extra strain on all of the players.”

Injured Eduardo leaves hospital Today

It has been confirmed that the injured Eduardo will have his leg in a plaster for the next six to eight weeks before beginning a rehabilitation programme.

Inter Milan’s Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic under serious Injury.

Firstly they are 2 goals ahead and secondly Zlatan Ibrahimovic star player of Inter Milan undergoing a serious injury. He was having a normal checkup and found out that he has a hole in his knee tendon. The Swede could still play some part against Liverpool but he has been forced to rest by doctors.

He said: “It has been hurting for a long time and I don’t know when it will heal. I didn’t want to say anything because I have just been thinking about winning with this team. But now I realise that I am taking a big risk and so I am resting.”

Brazilian Stars not Lucky for Milan

kaka.jpgThe Brazilian ace is suffering from knee injury which raises the doubt that will he make to the match against the Gunners or not. He was forced off at half-time in a match against Palermo when got a heavy knock on his right knee.

The scan reports have ruled out of any serious injury. Kaka said that he should be fit to face Arsenal in the concluding leg of first knockout round. He said: “I will definitely miss the midweek game against Catania. At the moment my knee hurts a lot but I hope to play against Arsenal.”

Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Kaka will be fit for the Rossoneri’s Champions League battle against Arsenal.

So cross your fingers, Kaka’s fitness will decide AC Milan’s future. As Ronaldo is also not available due to his injury.
